Intro:
Candle is a film about what remains when speech is no longer possible, or no longer trusted.
The figure does not speak. She is covered, held still, staged like an object—but she isn’t passive.
The silence is dense. Charged. It’s not that she can’t speak—it’s that language has failed her, or perhaps she has chosen to abandon it.
The candle becomes a fragile form of communication:a flicker, a warning, a presence that refuses to name itself.
This is a portrait of embodied muteness—where the body remembers what the voice forgets.
